Photos and copy in one go

Product descriptions write themselves while you shoot

The photo is half the job; the other half is the copy nobody wants to write. Here they come from the same upload: what the scanner reads on your label and photo becomes the text on your product page — in four languages.

Four text types per item: meta title, meta description, short and long copy · In four languages: Dutch, English, German and French · Material and care instructions straight from the scanned label · Included with every item — no separate copywriting fee

The short answer

Product Descriptions Written For You With Every Photo

  • Good clothing copy covers material, fit, styling advice and size info — exactly the fields that get filled automatically here from the label and photo.
  • Supplier descriptions are duplicate content: the same text sits on dozens of shops, and Google rarely picks yours out of the pile.
  • Copy is included with every item: 4 credits (± € 1.30) for four images and all the text. There's no separate copywriting invoice.
  • Alt text comes free with it — no longer a nice-to-have since the European accessibility law, and barely any copywriting agency delivers it by default.

Where it goes wrong in practice

Copy is the half-day nobody bills for

Title, meta description, short copy, long copy, alt text, size advice — per item, and times four languages if you sell across borders. That's why new items sit online for weeks with just a one-liner from the supplier.

Supplier copy = duplicate content = invisible

The same description sits on every shop that carries the same item. Google indexes one and ignores the rest — usually the shop with the most authority, rarely yours. Original copy isn't a luxury, it's the price of entry into search results.

Outsourcing is expensive and loses your voice

A copywriting agency easily charges € 15 to € 50 per product description, doesn't know your brand, and bills per language separately. For two hundred items in four languages, that's an investment most small shops can't justify.

What text you get per item

You upload the photo and optionally scan the size label and care label. What the scanner sees — category, colour, material, care instructions, origin — becomes the raw material for the copy.

  • Meta title and meta description — for the browser tab and the Google snippet
  • Short product copy above the fold and a long text with features, material and care instructions
  • Everything in four languages: NL, EN, DE and FR — not machine-translated afterwards, but written per language
  • Alt text per image (legally required) and size info to cut returns: "Model is 5'10" and wears size 36"
  • Three delivery routes: straight into your webshop, as an export file, or copy per field

Editing stays your call

The copy is a starting point, not a final draft. Three things to know before you publish:

  • Every field can be copied separately — The copy panel has a button per field — paste what you like and rewrite what you don't, in your own system.
  • The label is the source — Scan the size and care label along with it, and material, care instructions and origin appear factually. Skip the scan, and the copy stays more general — that's more honest than guessing.
  • Your voice fits right in — The copy follows your item's features. Brand-specific phrases and your own tone of voice get added when you edit — that stays human work, and that's how it should be.

Why photos and copy need to come from one source

Copy that contradicts the photo — "warm red" on a dress that reads coral — costs exactly the trust the photo just built. Here, photos and copy come from the same recognition of the same item, so they can't contradict each other. And the complete product page — images, copy, alt text, size info — is ready in one go, for Shopify, WooCommerce, Lightspeed or CCV.

In three steps

  1. Upload your photo, scan your label. The label is an option, not a requirement — scan it and material and care instructions come along for free.
  2. Photos and copy are built together. Four images, four text types, four languages — from the same recognition.
  3. Publish or copy. Straight into your webshop, as a CSV export, or copied per field. You keep final editorial control.

Frequently asked questions

Is the copy unique enough for Google?

Yes — it's written per item based on what the scanner reads on your photo and your label, not copied from a template. That's exactly the difference with supplier copy that sits on ten shops at once.

Can I edit the copy before it goes live?

Yes, and we recommend it: the copy is a solid starting point, your brand voice is the finishing touch. The copy panel has a button per field, and with the direct integration the item stays hidden in your shop until you publish it.

Which languages do I get?

Dutch, English, German and French — all four written properly, not translated afterwards. If you sell into Germany or Belgium, that's the difference between being present and being found.

What does it cost separately, without images?

Nothing, and that's the point: the copy is included with every item. One item — four images plus all the copy — costs 4 credits, about € 1.30. There's no separate copy product needed.

Where do material and care instructions come from?

From the label you scan along with it: size, material, care instructions, brand and country. One or two labels, both work — and if you skip the scan, the copy leaves those fields out instead of making them up.
