Consistent model for your webshop

One consistent model for your webshop, always recognizable

FashionPix · Last updated 4 augustus 2026

A consistent model for your webshop means all your product photos feature the same face — shoot after shoot. You choose it once, together with your lighting, when setting up your brand style. After that, FashionPix never asks again: every item you upload automatically appears on your model.

A consistent model for your webshop: how to build a recognizable brand look

In short
  • You pick your consistent model once, when setting up your brand style — one to four faces, plus your lighting.
  • Every shoot after that automatically uses those faces; there's nothing left to click.
  • The consistency is built in, not just promised: every photo literally uses the same model photo as its base, so the face simply can't drift.
  • Choose from forty house models (free) or have a custom model made that's exclusively yours.
  • You can change your choice anytime; existing shoots stay untouched.

Why is a consistent model for your webshop so valuable?

A consistent model for your webshop gives your collection a cohesive look. Visitors see the same face, the same proportions and the same style with every product. That builds trust and makes your brand recognizable — even to customers landing on your webshop for the first time.

With AI imagery, this is also what separates a brand from a marketplace. Standalone AI tools can produce a decent single image, but each one ends up with a different face, different lighting and a slightly different white balance — and a webshop where every item looks different comes across as a random collection. That's why the consistent model isn't optional at FashionPix — it's the foundation.

How do you set up a consistent model for your webshop?

When setting up your brand style, FashionPix walks you through two choices: your models and your lighting. You filter by man, woman or child — so you never see more than a handful of faces at once — and pick one to four models that fit your target audience.

That's the entire setup, and it never comes back again. Every new shoot automatically uses your choice: you upload a photo of your item, and it appears on your models, in your lighting.

Want a different face from your selection for a specific collection? You can switch it per shoot without changing your default setup.

  • Open your brand style in your account.
  • Filter by man, woman or child and choose one to four faces.
  • Pick your lighting — the calm default already looks great and costs nothing.
  • Done: every shoot from now on automatically uses your choice.

Why the face can't drift

Most AI tools promise consistency; FashionPix builds it in. Every photo literally uses the same stored model photo as its base, onto which your item gets transferred. So the face can't gradually change — not even by item number one hundred — because it's the exact same photo every time.

The item itself gets transferred, not redrawn: buttons, seams, print and color stay exactly as shown in your photo. That way, a hundred product pages read as one shoot, featuring a hundred different items.

Does this work with my own model or only with house models?

The forty house models — women, men and children aged 3 to 64 — are free to use. They're fictional people, and that's an advantage: no model contract, no expiring usage rights, no extra fees for reuse.

Want a face nobody else has? Have a custom model made — exclusively yours, or created from your own selfie if you're the face of your shop. A custom model stays private to your account and never appears in other webshops' shoots.

Can you change the consistent model later?

Yes. You can update your selection whenever you like: add a face, remove one, or bring in a whole new cast for the new season. Existing shoots stay untouched — only new shoots use the new choice.

That gives you the freedom to take a different direction per collection without losing recognizability: you're switching within your own consistent cast, not between random faces.

Frequently asked questions

Can I set up multiple consistent models?

Yes — you choose one to four faces at once. That lets you vary within your collection without losing recognizability: it stays your consistent cast, and each face stays exactly the same from shoot to shoot.

Does my custom model stay private?

Yes. A custom model — made on request or from your own selfie — is only visible in your account and never appears in other webshops' shoots.

What happens to existing shoots if I change my consistent model?

Existing shoots stay completely unchanged. Only new shoots use the new choice — previously generated photos are never altered.

Does the consistent model work for all categories?

Yes: tops, pants, dresses, jackets and accessories — the latter automatically get a close-up crop so the product is clearly visible. The only exception is children's underwear and swimwear, which deliberately never appear on a child model; those automatically get a clean pack shot without a model.
